RE: Impera Bus & Coach
The 411 has been timed with a vehicle live and I agree it is tight but it can be done in the time given merseytravel routes on the Wirral have always been generous on running time just look at the 107 207 208 if it proves to be a problem when the route starts it will have be adjusted accordingly |

This is a prime example of why we need London Style Contracts. Playing with routes even before they have started messing with timings so many times.... Sorry but I for one will give the bus the big NO NO until somebody steps in and stops this messing arround. A rule that you only change once every 6 months will be a starter for 10 a 100 out of 100 would be London Style Routes. |

Plaxton Pointer 2 X187 BNH (2187) and TransBus Pointer 2 KP51 UFK (2510) have been named - 2187 appears to be "Shannon ?" and 2510 appears to be "Sophie ?". View my new Flickr Updated! |

How is 2187 is it still a nippy little thing? i used to use it regularly on the 607 when With Wigan bus company as it was quite fast compared to the First Renowns on the 600 i would catch that bus yet if i saw the other darts id let them pass as they where not as fast as that one. Bring Back Arriva Skelmersdale |

As it gets to high revs on each gear, it slowly changes to its next gear and then a burst of speed moves it along until it does it again at the top of its next gear! Strange bus (but it had a very warm heater at the front by the entrance/exit when it was our bus on the 130 and the 210/250!)... View my new Flickr Updated! |

There are other similar situations accross Merseyside. And surely with the tendered soon to be withdrawn to be replaced by the commercial Impera service, it's going to save money somewhere! |

RE: Impera Bus & Coach
Numbering of buses with the same number does sound a better idea . The number 101 on which the Merseytravel bus service number was based was only because the original service was the 1 , 1C and 401 at various times in the past history of this route . 411 is only from when Arriva went 4xx mad . |

Impera fares are not the same as Arriva, Arriva Day Tickets are not valid on the Impera 411.... So how can a passenger a bog stanard passenger who looks at the front sees 411 and then gets on and is confused when the fare is cheaper... Next day he gets on Arriva and wonders why he has to pay a higher fare again.... His other half Mrs Bloggs has been told she must pay as they do not accept Arriva Tickets... It's easy to be in the know and say it's fine but if your a plain Jane who just looks at the number or a person new to the area it's so confusing. Now prehaps Wirral Bus you can see the problem passengers face..... Drivers on Impera and Arriva probably think to themselves Muppet can't tell us appart but if you put the same route number on a different operator it becomes confusing. |
