Thats what i could gather from the review as well , what was always confusing with the 203 / 423 was the time consuming trips round the estates of Sandbrook and Town Meadow Lane on the route .

The Two Bus Changes i am most interested to see is the 84/85 As Apparently the 85 wont call at Raby Or Thornton Hough And The 84 Is Going To Go To Eastham Ferry Once Every 2 Hours And Raby Mere Once Every 2 Hours

i think the uproar over the 423 changed their minds and rightly so. there is a staff notice up at Laird St explaining what will be happening in September route wise.

Service: 106

Old Route: Moreton - Liscard/Wallasey Circular

New Route: Liscard/Wallasey Circular

106 Changes: Now runs a circular route between Liscard and Wallasey Village via New Brighton. No longer serves Leasowe, Moreton or Wallasey Road, Cliff Road, Mill Lane and St Georges Road. Now Runs Every 70 Minutes Instead Of Every 65 Minutes

The 124/125 will be Avon because the timetable interworks with the 492/495

According to the the Merseytravel site, the 423 IS to be withdrawn when these changes come into effect. Having said that, when the Sefton Review was published some services that were identified to be withdrawn were retained and others were amended before they were implemented.

What exactly does the staff notice in Laird Street depot actually say?

the staff notice in Laird Street lists the all the services affected by the changes coming in september, some being withdrawn, some being changed.

the services withdrawn are the following: 403, 219/419, 118/119, 175 and the extra morning 487 of a school day morning.

with all the changes the pvr will drop by 11 buses.

175 is up for emergency tender
