This isnt the best advertisement for using the mersey ferries to have the service off over a weekend , while the weather other than cold is ideal for being on the mersey , bet you merseyferries are kicking themselves .
Did not Mersey Ferries state that the Royal Daffodil could be brought back to service if such a problem occured?
Oh well this has to Mersey Ferries worst nightmare coming true .
Oh and remember what infamy said about the service in the winter , could this be the forerunner of the service just operating a winter weekend service .

It does appear that they've already tried that, as it was facing the opposite direction in the dock on Sunday evening.
The Daffodil was started up and moved out of the way so the Iris could be put where the Daffodil was, as the Iris is having a refit and this now gives easier access to her.

Not as far as I know. Its starting to rust quite bad now. The Snowdrop should be back soon in its new Razzle Dazzle colours.
