The Royal Daffodil has been on a dry dock at Carmet Marine, Bromborough for a number of years now, long having since left East Float. Those plans have been in the works for a long time, so let's hope something finally comes of them.

They seemingly stopped using East Float for spare ferries three years or more ago. As a matter of interest, does anyone know where the spare ferry is kept nowadays when the Ship Canal cruises aren't running?
Liverpool City Region has signed a contract with Cammell Laird to build a new Mersey ferry.
Surprised no-one has mentioned suspension of the Ferry - to cover cruises if I read this correctly.

‘Daffodil’ as it’s now known, is in the North Dock at Garston and has been there since at least 2021. It has been undergoing extensive refurb works for many years now.
Daffodil was brought in the Canning Dock today
