I was fully aware of that but that could have been altered as part of the electrification works.
710261 and 710269 were in service on the GOBLIN yesterday.
710119
was noted on LNWR Crewe yesterday.
710261/62/63/66/67/69 have all been modified and are now at work on the GOBLIN line. The 15 minute service has been re-instated and there are usually 4 x 710 ang 2 x 378 in service. The full 710 service shouls start at the end of July and the 3 x 378 will revert to 5 car formation for use on the other lines.
710119 has been moved from Old Dalby to HNRC Worksop for storage.

It is a relief that several 710s are finally in service on Goblin. It is just a pity that on August Bank Holiday the service will only be half-hourly. This might be due to engineering works on the other London Overground line through Gospel Oak.
Travelled from Barking to Gospel Oak yesterday All six diagrams were 710s - 261/2/5/6/7/9. There was a seventh 710 out on 3J05 test run which passed through Gospel Oak 38 late.
The Class 315s bowed out on London Overground yesterday after an association with the West Anglia lines dating back nearly 37 years. First used on these routes on 23rd January 1984, the last two units were 315802 and 315807 which worked a round trip from Chingford to Enfield Town via Liverpool Street. Despite the lockdown restrictions, TfL put on a bit of a show for the many enthusiasts who turned up, giving out souvenir badges and pens. At Chingford, there was even a DJ who played an 80s set list!

A real shame to see them withdrawn as the 710s which have replaced them have an inferior ride quality and the all-longitudinal seating is rock hard by comparison. It's incredible how much of an advance Northern's new stock seems over the junk it has replaced whilst here it's arguably a downgrade in some ways. That's progress, I suppose.
The following are in "Cold Storage" at Ely Papworth Sidings;
317887, 317888, 317889, 317891 and 317892
