I think it was the December 2011 timetable change that changed the allocation from almost uniform 315s to mainly 321s. The 317s crept in not too long afterwards, and IIRC they also briefly had booked peak time workings on the Norwich and Shenfield routes.
I did say not many AGA drivers are 317 trained.
The new Aventra units for London Overground will be designated as Class 710
315809 has received LO livery meaning 315801/802/804/806/809/810/812/813/815/817 are now completed. All of these are fully refreshed apart from 315801 which still has NXEA seat moquette. It'll be interesting to see if the 317s, lower than the 315s in the LOROL food chain, receive the same level of refresh as the 315s.

Although the 315s are ostensibly the only booked units off-peak, two eight car 317 sets were used between the peaks on Friday. The latter class just isn't as well suited to the inner suburban West Anglia lines. They feel quite cramped internally and their seats feel too low for their own good, a problem I also have with the 319s.
Just 378257 remains to be extended to five car.
Work has commenced on the electrification of the Gospel Oak to Woodgrange Park line save for the area around South Tottenham which is already electrified.
All 57 Class 378 units have now been extended to 5 - car.
The Gospel Oak to Barking line will be closed between October 2016 and February 2017 for electrification.
As part of the electrification programme for the GOBLIN line lifts and a new entrance have been provided at South Tottenham Station.
The class 172 will be replaced by class 710 from next year.
Where would the class 172s be cascaded to?
Chiltern Trains would be an obvious place.
