They have been using other Connexions vehicles also, again not sure if acquired or on hire.

Not to sure which one (Sorry) but for the first time in ages while I was in Manchester yesterday morning I spotted one of Go Northwest's Enviro 400s in service on a 18 going towards Langley.

Didn't realise any of these had been loaned to any of the operators helping out as the Enviro 400s have been the only type that's not been seen much during the strike action.

They were used initially at the Start by GNW and now as vehicles are needed for inspections and MOT’s they will get swapped etc.
So originally Selwyns had all B9’s but buses have been swapped and they now have a couple of Enviro400’s and a couple of B7’s.
With things changing very quickly in the last few days a number of vehicles and services have returned to Queens Road over the last couple of days.
18, 33, 52,53, 93 are now running out of queens road.
100, 67, some 97/98 and 41 are being run by contractors but that will change over the weekend with more work returning to QS.
Edwards who were doing the 52/53 are now doing dupes on busy services such as 17’s and 135’s.

Other services are still running out of Heywood.
Also it seems a number of B7’s originally for disposal have been reinstated compete with painted front ends.

41 will be operated by QS from weekend so will be interesting to see if any Citaros make an appearance.

Just to clarify the reinstated B7s. Are they running in First livery with GNW liveried fronts ? Thx.
The B7s may last till when Manchester bus franchising coming it then. As not seen any dates for ULEZ

I wouldn't be surprised if ULEZ is delayed until franchising starts as operators won't want to invest in new vehicles if TfGM takes over ownership of depots

They not taking over ownership of Depots or Buses they are going to offer to buy what they can use.

But no bus operators are going have to sell anything to TFGM.

But they will have to get consent to run services within Gtr Manchester but most will cash out fully but Depots may get better offers. And with the buses they may find they move the buses out over selling if they are offered less then what there worth as some may have finance outstanding.

Ah at least that clears that one up then btw how many B7s are being reinstated alongside 69197?
