Blimey no wonder they are parking them in Manchester.

Don't Rothbury also operate from Burnley ?

This is what confused me. One of the people connected with B&N and Harris bus were advertising for freelance drivers to drive the 100 route on a day rate.

Also for anyone who's interested Edwards Coaches seem to be renting space at the side of Lancashire Cricket Club on Great Stone Road, quite a number of coaches were seen parked up there on Saturday night when I went past on Metrolink Replacement from Altrincham.
Edwards Coaches ran some 52s (alongside GoNW Enviro 200s) and 53s yesterday. Other independents on routes 33, 67, 97 & 98.
Routes 17 & 18 had ordinary Volvo B9TLs and route 135 its refurbished ones. 41 & 95 had mainly ex-Plymouth Eclipses. Route 93 had Enviro 200s and route 100 Volvo B5LHs.
Oh, 1 triviality from yesterday. Midland Classic ran an ex-First / Tower Transit Enviro 400 on route 98. As it has not been refurbished by MC, it meant that people could have sampled a First interior again on this ex-First operation!

The majority of the GNW vehicles you mention are on loan to other companies though.

Looks like Red Rose Travel have an outstation in Widnes, just seen former First B7R MX05 CHO come out of Widnes Coach’s depot

Its not Red Rose, its just Widnes Coaches, they just haven't updated the blinds. Saw this bus a couple week back, had Widnes Coaches legals on the side. I'm guessing a Hire-In from Connexions.

Ah right, yes I just assumed it was Red Rose based on the blinds, as only caught a glimpse. Cheers for the correction.
