08G18063 Golden Island, Athlone 5 November 2022 - Flagline have operated a serivce to Willow Park for years, basically every 30 minutes. I don't see any ticket machines and it is a bit of an odd service, though does appear to be popular.

Previously AE08DLF with South Wales Transport.
Busy few weeks, in London two weeks ago and at the Christmas Cracker in Manchester last week. Plenty of pictures to sort out.
Go Bus have finally been taken over by Citylink, no major changes yet, though a new livery has appeared for their 707 service Dublin to Cork.
221G1791 Custom House Quay 10 December 2022 - Unusally they bought Tourismos earlier in the year. Tourismos are fairly common in Ireland.
222C6025 Custom House Quay 10 December 2022 - Back to Volvos and the new livery.
PA235 North Wall Quay 10 December 2022 - The new G routes have been a mess due to severe driver shortages. Needless to say the G1 and G2 should not be bunching here.

AX551 Customs House 23 December 2022 - One of the oldest buses in the fleet and surely will go next year when the Electroliners enter service. As seems to be common, there are probably a lot of the new buses in store somewhere but charging points are taking longer to install than expected. AX551 is on the peak hour 33X to Balbriggan, an interesting spin down the port tunnel, open the windows and listen to the B7TL roar!
SG459 Rosie Hackett Bridge 23 December 2022 - Not the best shot but what appears to be a very eye catching ad campaign can be seen here - 'We'll pay you E815 a week to drive this bus!'
VWD81 Beresford Place 23 December 2022 - In the interest of fairness, Bus Éireann are also looking for drivers, as are Aircoach, Citylink, Dublin Express etc.
Custom House 23 December 2022 - Wishing everyone here a Happy Christmas and a peaceful 2023.
All the very best for Christmas and for 2023 Redstar, and many thanks for your excellent coverage of all matters Irish

Yes, Merry Christmas and thanks Redstar, and Merry Christmas to you too EDB325.
Christmas over, so I wish everyone a happy New Year.
The first of the Enviro 200EVs have appeared in Athlone, so this is a taster of what we hope is an interesting 2023.
EA11 & EA3 Athlone Depot 29 December 2022
AX634 Georges St 7 January 2023 - Thankfully demand for buses is such that there is a need for the AX (ALX400s) to continue in service for another while. I am not sure when they will go, but the 100 new EW double deckers are stacking up waiting for garages to take them in.
PA168 Nassau St 14 January 2023 - Then again if DB could get more drivers then more services could operate. This issue will continue for another while.
VT40 Dawson St 14 January 2023 - Hopefully we get another while out of these!
Liffey Valley Shopping Centre is located to the west of Dublin beside the N4 Galway/ Sligo Road and the M50, the Dublin orbital road. Currently this is served by Dublin Bus routes 26, G2, and L53, Go Ahead 76/A and L51. Bus stops have been revised recently pending the opening of a new interchange in the next few months. This appears nearly ready to open.
EV56 Liffey Valley 20 January 2023 - The 26 has not been a high profile route over the years, however with Bus Connects requiring temporary revisions to the local network, it has been increased to up to every 10 minutes. This route is due to be replaced in time.
11505 Liffey Valley 20 January 2023 - Go Ahead route 76 operates between Chapelizod and Tallaght, this is a relatively busy orbital route. A feature to note with GAI buses is that the adverts only ever advertise Transport for Ireland products/ services etc.
GT28 Liffey Valley 20 January 2023 - One of the new local routes, loads are slowly increasing.
PA2 Shaw St 8 February 2023 - Unusual on the 1. They were common for the latter half of 2021 until the 1 changed from Ringsend to Broadstone depot. I can't remember any PAs on this last year, so its nice to some variety on this route with a very settled allocation.
LF815 Townsend St 8 February 2023 - One of the new LFs on the 133. Comfy journey for those travelling on this route.
