Due to a ferry shortage CalMac have had to cancel the summer ferry service from Ardrossan to Campbeltown for the second year running. This means people using their cars will have to use the A83 road to and from Campbeltown which is continually closed south of its junction at Rest and Be Thankful due to landslides. When this happens there is a 59 mile diversion. All time rail mileage travelled 327264 miles |
