RE: Eazibus
Seen T421 OUB operating 202 earlier, what a mess this bus is, I'm sure that it had one number on the blinds and another in paper on the screen. This of course is ex cumfybus.

Sod the numbers, I bet most passengers were just glad a bus actually turned up for once LOL

Unsure which one but one of the ex-Cumfybus Solo's was on the 61 this morning as well.

RE: Eazibus
Those solo's should have been scrapped rather than sold for further service, they were probably very cheap.

RE: Eazibus
C'mon folks, give these Solos a break - you don't scrap a bus just because its paint is faded, or because its number plate begins with T.

There's nothing fundamentally wrong with these buses. They don't rattle or vibrate half as much as many newer vehicles, and one of them in particular presents quite a tidy appearance inside. As far as I know they even have working LEDs (at least they did when I last saw them in service with Cumfybus), I assume it's just that no-one has bothered to program them. And they must be adequately reliable, since I've rarely seen anything else on the 165 since their arrival in early September.

RE: Eazibus
As predicted, the Solos have been withdrawn and the 165 is now back in the hands of the three remaining Enviro200s: MX59 AVB, AVD and AVG.

Has the Parliament Street depot in Liverpool been vacated? I went past it at lunchtime and it was completely empty: no Trident, no spare Enviro, no LDV minibus, no employees' cars, nothing at all.

If so, where are Eazibus operating the 165 from now?

Duke Street in Birkenhead last week...both Cumfybus solos are there with rest of the fleet

Ah right, thanks, I did wonder if that might be the case. Presumably the saving on rent exceeds the extra costs, even though a quick calculation suggests that sending two buses and drivers over to Liverpool every day must be costing them around £9,000 per year in extra diesel, wages, and tolls.

Enviro200 MX59 AVF is for sale by Southdown PSV at £59,750 + VAT.
