Cross River services were affected this evenings peak after a person got hit by a Stagecoach Enviro 300 around 17.10 at the junction of North John Street and Victoria Street.

Dangerous spot for pedestrians as they think thy are clever not waiting for the pedestrian lights.

The spot isn't dangerous - too many pedestrians are just downright brain dead. If I drive through a red light and kill someone on a crossing I get banged up. So why is it apparently perfectly acceptable for pedestrians to ignore signals? Jaywalking is an offence in other countries - and it should be here. Rant over.

4531 has suffered smoke damage after leaving Sir Thomas Street it's with the fire brigade at present no one has been hurt.
