I don't know how the double decker fleet at Speke works , is it a common user fleet or are the varying double deckers allocated specific routes. |

Usually, although not exclusively, the double decker allocation for Speke is as follows: E40D/Enviro400 - 86/86A/D and soon the 75 DB300/Gemini2 - 79/79D, 82/82D, 699 B7TL/ALX400 - 81/81A B7TL/Eclipse Gemini - 81/81A, 699 On Saturdays, the 80A sees an allocation of DB300/Gemini2s and on Sundays, all City Centre services are double deck operated. During weekdays and on Saturdays, a scattering of spare deckers can usually be found on the 76, 78 and the 80/80A. Hope this helps :-) |

According to the Arriva North West Facebook page the new deckers for the 75 were due to enter service today |

I spotted a couple on the 76 and 78. Interestingly, they carry promotional adverts with the slogan '50% MORE BUS. 100% MORE LUXURY' then underneath '100 NEW DOUBLE DECKS FOR MERSEYSIDE' or something like that. Arriva do love the word luxury don't they!? |

Yes they entered service today but not all on the 75. I spotted a couple on the 76 and 78. Interestingly, they carry promotional adverts with the slogan '50% MORE BUS. 100% MORE LUXURY' then underneath '100 NEW DOUBLE DECKS FOR MERSEYSIDE' or something like that Some of the GL ones also carry this advert Cheers Rob Day Formerly 51537 |
