Or could GHA have registered a commercial Sandbach to Winsford service after failing to win that contract?

And what are Arriva planning to do with their 37/37A for that to go out to tender in the first place?

In the case of the 84 I wonder if it's a case of trying to force little Routemaster Buses off the route opposed to Arriva. Routemaster cancelled their service 8 registration as soon as they realised D&G had applied to run a service on that route (both registrations being in response to Arriva withdrawing their service.)
