320 and 20 journeys to St Helens were diverted from about 16.00 16.15 onwards following an RTA/RTC or a boy racer thinking his car was a sports car. A Honda was also at the scene but looked undamaged Police and ambulance on scene. The collision was on Church road in Haydock at the junction with Piele road. Buses to St Helens turned right onto Piele road. From there I don't know what it was but my guess would be a left onto the East Lancs and a left onto Haydock Lane omitting a section of Church road and Clipsley lane.

Buses to Ashton/Wigan and Earlestown only had their timings effected.
