A lot of work is planned on junctions in St Helens/Rainhill/Thatto Heath in particular.

I suppose these buses allocated to those routes will have transponders on them which will favour them at traffic lights .

Oh Well i don't know why 4614 didn't go onto the 395 then? i observed it Orrell (352 Shorts terminus at 14:50) heading Wigan Bound i then observed it at about 16:00 heading SH Bound and then i saw 4609 at Approx 17:05 flooring it up Sandy Lane Can safely say 4609 is a beast with Hill climbing!

Went to Wigan yesterday. 4609, 4613 and 4614 were all on 352s. I assume every other 352 incoming from SH goes on to a 395 with the alternate ones returning straight to SH, I do not know whether they do 395s on a later visit to Wigan on a 352. 4613 and 4614 both definitely went out on 395s. It does get confusing when drivers have already reset the display to the outgoing route before they reach the Bus Station at Wigan. I fuss all drivers do that!
