Arriva North West - St Helens Depot
RE: Arriva North West - St Helens Depot
The reason for drivers keeping the cadet out is like you say CX54,drivets prefer cadets cause there easier to manouvre round crank and rainford than pulsars are and a lot of the drivers dont like the solos or solo sr due to the body design faults.

my mate is the regular 356 late driver thursday, friday, saturday (except tonight due to illness) and straight away if 2490,2491 or 2493 comes in he takes them back to the depot as they really do stuggle up crank hill, 6 mph is a joke tbh

Cadets seemed to get around today, there seemed to be a couple of the 34 and 2491 on the 620 too. This meaning 2269 and 7650 (replaced by 2416) on the 37/8 and 2712 on the 329.

One of the newly arrived X-reg Cadets taking up pride of place on the 10A this morning. Didn't manage to note which.

2324 is out on 33s today BBB.

It seems that the X reg Cadets are being operated exactly as the 54 plate batch regardless of late duties too. Escaping again on to the 356 late board this evening should be 2421 - St Helens obviously have more faith in their reliability than other depots have done!
