The Nolans singer and actress Berni Nolan has died aged 52 after losing her battle with cancer RIP Berni you will be missed love the song im in the mood for dancing also remember her playing sgt sheelagh murphy in the bill.

Yes, I liked Bernie Nolan and remember her in Brookside ca 2000. The Nolans are widely treated as one-hit wonders but they had around 7 or 8 hits. I liked Who's Gonna Rock You best.

Anna Wing , who played the part of Lou Beale in Eastenders has died .

She was 98.

When Anna Wing was auditioning for the job in Eastenders , she took her birth cerificate to prove that she was from the East End of London , with probably gave her character a bit more of a bite than would otherwise have been the case .

Sad to say but I come to you with another death .

Alan Whicker has died aged 87 from Bronchial Pneumonia , he was thrust into stardom with the programme Whickers World .

For all Manchester City fans :

Manchester City's German goalkeeper Bert Trautmann has died at the age of 89.

Trautmann is best remembered for playing the final 17 minutes of City's 1956 FA Cup final win, when they beat Birmingham City, with a broken neck.
