I would imagine that, if not straightaway then eventually, services will start to switch depots with some Bluebird services switching to other Stagecoach Manchester depots and current Stagecoach services moving to Greengate (has been suggested on here that the 76 and 112 will swap).

Certainly would make sense to move the 173 and X5 to Stockport depot. 291 could easily fit in at Hyde Road with the 250/X50.

The Bluebird takeover is now appearing on the main Stagecoach website with a little picture of Stagecoach/Bluebird buses. Service numbers appear on timetable drop-down list but no PDF's yet (most of the TfGM timetable have been updated to show Stagecoach instead of Bluebird).

Stagecoach haven't lost the tenders as they never had them in the first place. It was Bluebird who lost them, probably one of the reasons why they sold as they were no longer an attractive operator for the tenders.

Also yesterday, there were quite a few Stagecoach buses on loan to Bluebird with 33772 on the 159 in Oldham, 34057 on the 173, 33084 on the 112, as was 31388 and 33779, while 33773 was on the 80 and 33775 was on the 77.

Meanwhile at Wigan depot, a MAN (22308) was on the 32 yesterday.

I shall be passing their depot in an hour, ill see if they have changed anything there yet

Following buses where noted at Greengate depot at about 12.30:- 22237, 33075, 33084, 33091, 33092, 33187, 33188, 33772, 33775, 33780, 47768.

Also the sign on the railings outside the depot now reads Stagecoach in Manchester.

Which buses are 33187 and 33188? As far as I can see they don't exist. Are you sure they are correct?

hi all,

Today this morning at 11.00am, I catch 33 to Eccles and guess what I sit on the board? ENVIRO200 36785 I can't believe this...before that I arrive in wigan is ALX300 on 631 is 22303 or 22302(sorry). Come back home from Eccles is Gemini 16951 all the way to wigan. I'm surprise see Enviro 400 is on 658, Enviro 200 is on 593, other Enviro400 were maybe 610(not sure). And I catch the bus to home is 22400 (SP06 DAO) on 631 at 15.25pm also 632 same bus on ALX300/MAN couldn't see the id when my local bus to leave bus station.
