Tickets being accepted 'via any reasonable route' which includes going via Chester and using Merseyrail to get across to Merseyside but the TOCs seem to have forgotten about the Chester-Liverpool via Runcorn service for passengers going to/from Runcorn and South Parkway.

nationalrail website suggesting may be some diversions via Chester - I understood Virgin had ceased to maintain route knowledge but I am reliably informed Preston crews still have it.
Trains losing best part of an hour on the up.

Actually re-reading the nationalrail item it refers to Liverpool trains being diverted via Chester, so clearly garbage.

That will be one of the 350's still with TPE, although all are now in LNR livery
