They are currently in reserve, so won't be scrapped for a few months yet. Time will tell whether they see service over the water.

Stagecoach surprisingly have BLE 21123 back in service today, this is working 17. I seen it going up London Road about 40 minutes ago. With regards to the liberators, these are still good buses and could be sold on rather than scrapped but we will see.

TransBus Dart PX04 HTU (34617) was on the 53 today - strange to see a non-Enviro300 on that service these days:

RE: Stagecoach Merseyside - Gillmoss Depot
I remember reading a rumour that Stagecoach are planning a route 10x from Liverpool to Wigan. I presume it will be a limited stop service stopping at St Helens and not many other places en route. Does anyone know any more about it, or whether it would operate from Gillmoss, Wigan or both?

Would be a good idea , falls in with Stagecoach's interurban routes .

This would probably have to operate as two services otherwise it may fall foul of route length restriction maybe a 10X and X10 ?

It's a good idea given that they now have the Wigan Depot although may cause a few issues with the QBP though.

Given Stagecoach and Arriva still operate a short 10B I can't see it interfering too much with the QBP

the 10B and 10C are both part of the QBP mate

It would be good to have a service like that If It done a 10B, 89 and made its own route from St Helens then I seriously hope it does come as a propper bus service. Arriva covers warrington anyway with the 6/7A so good luck to stagecoach.
