I saw an Ipswich Buses livery Solo out in St Helens today, likely YN04LWJ too? First time I'd seen it at at all but stood out in their purple/green livery.

Its an old Fairbrothers bus. It was the 15A/15X bus but it has been moved to Link. Unsure why livery hasn't been applied. The uniform fleet did look a lot better.

Fairbrothers bought it about a month or two before ceasing public services. I don’t know if it gets loaned out to Link or if they’ve bought it but the two companies still swap buses when others are unavailable.

I'll have you know, that Streetlite is actually a really nice bus. I have been on it quite a few times. It was rubbish when it turned up but they sorted something out with it and now it just flies.

Any Ex Fairbrothers solos which arent yet sold are also used occasionally. The Ipswich bus is seen quite a bit out on Link routes.

Tbh MX12 CFU is not that bad for a Streetshite but its still not great Wright really have gone downhill in the last 10 years with their build quality.
