By the way, this Solo says 'WARRINTON' on the front, i.e. without the 'G'.
One of the Link Network branded Solos says this too, but interestingly the other one doesn't (uses lower case instead).
Not a huge deal, and probably most people haven't noticed! Smile

Yes we know. It's a talking.point so we've left it like that. The kids love the fact it's spelt wrong

I like it! Laugh

GHAs Metrocities had Warington on the side destination for a period of time.

Ill confirm this with the Traffic office in Leeds in the new year. As it happens our revenue has not been affected by their actions but if they are playing with us it may be time to extend and do the Runcorn Leg of the 110 too, We promised to stay off that patch if they left us to it!

I've been thinking about this, and I wonder if they appeared to be operating at different times due to the strange quirks in the Arriva 110 Saturday timetable, which isn't the basic 'every 20 minutes'.
E.g. after departures from Warrington at 10, 30 and 50 past the hour for much of the day until 11:50, they then have a 12:15, 12:35, 13:00, and then operate at 00, 20 and 40 past the hour for much of the remainder of the day.
The situation is also different in the opposite direction.

Nice to see decker LJ03 MKV on the 110 today.
I think it must also be on the X6, judging from the particular workings it has been on, though I can't confirm that.

RE: Link Network (MD Bus & Coach)
Hope the new 329 does well.
I assume it will run every 30 minutes with a PVR of 3.
Looking at Arriva's timetable, they might run just in front of Arriva from Warrington to St Helens, around 3 or 4 minutes ahead, but then they might have to run quite far in front of Arriva from St Helens to Warrington, something like 8 to 10 minutes ahead.

Can I ask why 'Link Network' are trying to compete against Arriva?

As far as I know, just because they think they can make a bit of money on those routes too Smile

I work in dallam I can get the 329 home to sthelens then on to clock face but what I do is get the 16 then 7 to lunts heath then 17 to clock face it's costs more but it's quicker surely instead of competing with arrival 329 they would of been better going through great Sankey clock face sthelens junction which people used to use but arrival thought more of certain areas it makes sence there making a big mistake there it's going to fail before it starts

RE: Link Network (MD Bus & Coach)
When going into St Helens, I also change at Lunts Heath between 7 and 17.
This could be a potential gap in the market?
It would be particularly good not to have to change buses there as there is no bus shelter at that stop.
