Arriva North West - Bolton Depot
RE: Arriva North West - Bolton Depot
2829 Is parked at the side of Bolton depot, I saw it the other day on my way past.

I saw 4171 (DLP69) being loaded onto a truck, looking like it was going for scrap on my way past today, I thought I saw it in Bolton bus station on a school service last Friday, or am I getting confused with another with the DLP number still applied.

I thought I also saw another Plaxton President/DAF in the depot last week with rollblind displays.

I had an away-day to Bolton today and was at the depot around 1230. I saw 4170/2/4-85 assuming 4183 and 4184 are LF52URS and URU or vice-versa. I think there was another parked in the middle row but could not id it. Certainly no sign of 4171 unless it was similarly 'buried' so it may well have departed.

According to this, looks like the Sapphires will hit the streets by Early July:

Noticed 4183-5 in the depot/yard yesterday waiting to enter service. Also in the yard was 2829 with a few bits missing, this has not been in service for a while.
DAF 2565 has returned from repair and was in the yard sporting a new rear end although it looked like some of the nearside panels were still damaged.
Spotted inside the depot was Presidet 4164 from Wythenshaw, prop there for a service etc.

Just seen Sapphire 2683 in Bolton on test. No logos etc. Looks very good with full rear display and a new coloured one at the front.

The vehicles are 2678-88, 2995-9. 16 into total with 2677 as a spare i believe. Some of them are back in store at Bolton waiting for branding etc.
