One thing that really is a curse with these new notes is once folded the fold always stays in the note no matter what , i have come across one already folded eight times .

You will need to start looking under your matresses and in your wallets soon the old £5 not ceases to be legal tender on the 5th May 2017.

At this point you will be able to change them at most high street banks for a short while .

After that phase you will have to send them to the Bank Of England in the City Of London.
