RE: Arrivas Cost Cutting
Whenever they turn up the vehicle pvrs and staff have still been reduced. And instead of having to replace nearly 100 vehicles it's only a small chunk having to be ordered instead to satisfy the original actual requirements |

The order is for around 50 buses with around half of the order being for Green Lane and the other half due for Speke |

Dont know if it will include Chester then, Winsford seems to have lost a few vehicles/services too forgot about that one. the 79/79c saved 3 buses but the 110 service as had a bus added into the allocation so were as there was only 2 min recovery they now drop back at Warrington |

The timetable for September 2016 appears virtually identical to what it was when I was at uni. Overall, Speke's PVR hasn't actually gone down anyway because the 79 PVR was increased by two buses at the end of last summer. IIRC, there were other routes which had a bus or two added to the PVR to increase reliability (was the 10/10A one?) so it's not necessarily a net reduction of 5 buses at each depot.
