Connect Tees Valley mentions amongst its service changes about National Express service 580 between Liverpool and Newcastle. It states that the terminus will move to LiverpoolONE but there will be a stop at Norton Street (presumably outside the current coach station). It will also says it will stop at Edge Lane Drive in both directions plus Byrom Street (opposite John Moores University) on journeys into Liverpool.

Surely this is going to eat into all the running time and layover time - are you getting extra?? At least an extra 15 minutes each way during the day, then at peaks god only knows The strand is one big car park!!

10 minutes is almost certaintly never going to be enough time , especailly at peak times , scheduling department needs to come to liverpool to look at the problem.

I've just picked someone up from Norton Street. As expected the place was packed and there were only two services departing (060 and 550), both operating duplicates. I doubt that Liverpool One will cope when it becomes the terminus for all of Nat Ex services as, apart from a total lack of toilet facilities, the waiting areas are far too small.

There are public toilets at L1 just by the travel center.

Let alone liverpool One being one of the biggest wind tunnels in Liverpool .

Its a game of wait and see if it will work

Some Arriva buses going to Liverpool One are now going to drop people off outside Tesco and no longer take them into Liverpool One bus station. This may be to reduce overcrowding or bus dwell time when NatEx coaches are present.
