Ex Arriva NW Palatine II's
RE: Ex Arriva NW Palatine II's
I didn't really have the time or anything to hand to write any numbers down although it did cross my mind. They were all in states that suggests they'd been there for a while, though. One was S207 JUA at least.

Also are the ex merseyside olympians still living or have these all died, referring to:

3329
3330
3331
3331

Also is 3360 still alive anywhere or did psv barnsley break it up? Wouldn't be suprised if they did as it was deffo on its v v very last legs when winsford waved goodbye to it. Outta the bunch, 3311/3331 were the best of the ex merseyside gang, thoughts on this folks???

Bit of a photographic update (courtesy of Flickr).

Ex-3329 (R329 WVR) could be a scrapper (been untaxed since June 2013). Fortunately, the future is brighter for some others....

Ex-3330 (R330 WVR) now with Andrews Coaches.....

Meanwhile, ex-3309 (R309 WVR) has left Harpurs of Derby and is now with Nu-venture of Kent....

Whereas ex-3310 (R310 WVR) is staying there!
As seen with the superb Cummins L10-powered luxury Wirral Palatines ex-3294 (N294 CKB) and ex-3297 (N297 CKB)....

But I've saved the best 'til last!
The NWVRT's preserved ex-3317 has been restored to its original condition!
It's now back to MTL North 0317 (R317 WVR)....

Great to see so many still doing the rounds, if they were still in service on Merseyside they'd put the rest of the fleet to shame in terms of acceleration and ride comfort - definitely my favourite buses.

Just passed thru Whittlesey, a number of ex LS palatines still visible from the railway line in the yard of Deckerbus.

0302 has been painted all white and has been retrimmed. 0301 has been trimmed into the old arriva tyne bridge and looks good

0301 was already in tyne bridge after its refurb in Arriva days with 284/287 and 304 if I remember correctly

Love to know who designed the Tyne bridge covers because in my opinion they are horrible.
