Once again the Enviro400 MMC was on the 14 today, fully loaded during rush hour period. Pity it couldn't have been utilised more than just a spare bus during the Three Queens event.

The office/drivers restroom at Norton Street is to be shut down this summer in plans to cut costs. It could see routes, such as the 53, being worked with the 19, 17 etc.

Does that also mean the end of driver changes in that area as well.

Looks that way yes.
On a different note, 17325 and 17176 have reverted back to their original registrations. This could mean that these old deckers are on their way out of Gillmoss pretty soon. Quite possible that all have but ive only seen these 2 today so far.

I got told yeaterday that gillmoss are to receive 8 new deckers shortly.

They'll be receiving some of Chorley's Scania/Enviro400s when they are replaced by the Gold spec ones for the 125 in September/October.
