The 10A, 14, 20/21 and 82/86 definitely, and for me the 17 as well as I've seen buses completely full both during and outside peak times. Enviro300s were the wrong sized replacements for this route, bearing in mind it also serves Anfield and is an utter nightmare to use on match days.

I've heard from an irregular but trusted source there is a good chance that Green Lane depot could receive more (between 16 and 18) double deckers from of the 2015/16 order for the 14. It's unknown what any new double decker stock would be replacing at Green Lane - but my money is on the Commanders and "Classic" Pulsars being redeployed to replace Y-reg saloons at other depots. Let's hope it happens - because the 14/14A desperately needs extra capacity I do agree with you on the point you have made there Shaun - whilst the 10/10A has needed double decker capacity for a long time - I just don't think the passenger numbers are there for both operators to operate double deckers on the 10/10A and 14/14A Apologies for going a bit off topic! |
