Arriva North West - St Helens Depot
RE: Arriva North West - St Helens Depot
Rumour is these deckers what are coming to merseyside have been taken from other operating areas orders and diverted to merseyside due to them being required up here so the pulsars may go to other operating areas to fill the gap in what the deckers will leave.

RE: Arriva North West - St Helens Depot
Looking at the Bangor thread could some displaced from St Helens and Green Lane/Bootle also be going there.

RE: Arriva North West - St Helens Depot
I would have thought the Pulsars displaced on the entry into service of these new vehicles would of directly replaced some of the aging vehicles, the Renowns for instance. And how long have the Myllenniums at Green Lane got left? Plus on the Bangor & Birkenhead threads it's alleged there is a shortage of vehicles at both these depots.
How better of is the region going to be if this is true.

RE: Arriva North West - St Helens Depot
At st helens the deckers are replacing the pulsars on the 10/10a which in turn pulsars will replace the volvo b10bles and release upto 8 pulsars for onward movement to other depots but word as it the "X" plate volvos will get scrapped and the "Y" plate ones will go to green lane for the remainder of there service life.
The darts will in turn be replaced during the year most probally by buses from other depots when they get there upgrades as i cant see the darts getting replaced by brand new buses.

If the Y registered Renowns do go to Green Lane, the chances are the "up to 30 deckers" mentioned on the Arriva NW Facebook page back in September will replace them and the Myllenniums in either late 2015 or early 2016.

Rumour as it more deckers will be on order for merseyside during 2015 and no doubt replace older stock and reckon green lane will get more later next year.
