Yep that's v true!!! 4098 is very quick, seems popular with all the drivers. 4156 isn't too bad but in past couple months has gone wrong few times but seems like it'll easily do 60mph plus.

As for centros best pair are 2609/2619 IMHO

Eyyyy good news at last, also believe it or not told by a workman that the northwich centre new road layout is finishing within the nxt wk!!!!

About time too, I'd imagine once 2425 re-appears 709 will probs be back on its usual crewe town duties.

Lastest news I have is that four B7's from Southport will be sent to the bodyshop this coming Sunday for external refurb and when complete will be sent to Winsford. I believe that eight or possibly nine are coming eventually. Still no official news on what will go onto the 84's in January.

2612 is on the 84 and has just been stopped on Tarvin Road woth ambulance crew on board. Lets hope all is well.

Good look with the them. They're the most unreliable buses at CR - the local recovery firm are reported to be laying off staff now that the B7s are being transferred to Winsford ;-)

Hahahaha, well we've managed to get the DLAs running reliably (at long feckin last!!!) so sure winsfords fitters will work their magic on the B7s also. Copey is it likely to be new single deckers for the 84s in jan or more likely deckers?

4098/4156 seem to be our best deckers atm, with 4026/27/30 coming bottom of the pile due to the fact that 26&27 are really sluggish off the mark & 4030 is kinda ok? Also anyone seen 4215 around this week at all, been hunting it down for couple days now but the buggers still evading me! Copey you heard any news on 4216 yet?

MM has reported 4216 is in the paintshop at St Helens

First of the B7's from Southport has arrived in the shape of 4104.
