What must be galling particulary to residents near to those stations in Cheshire and the area around Ormskirk , Aughton Park and Town Green is that they dont get free travel but residents from merseyside do into there area .
Going back on subject is there a good reason why the peak hour services on the X8 stop at Bromborough Cross , but not the off peak services.

The only reason I can think of is maybe the figures are high on the QBP for the amount of passengers travelling to Liverpool for work from Bromborough? Or maybe people working on the Croft?

29880 and 29882 have returned to Chester in their new Stagecoach livery. Looking very smart indeed. Looks so much better than the yellow.

34811 has just arrived back at Chester having had its front end repaired. There are also plans to change the layout of the yard in Chesters depot to accomodate more buses.

Moving the fuel tanks (havnt a clue where) and knocking down the stores along the left hand side as there is only an unused office and tire shed in them. Not 100% sure if this will be going ahead, just rumour at the moment.

I would of thought it would make more sense to flog the depot and relocate,i would imagine they would get a fair bit for the site given its location

You only have to look outside the city centre of Chester and im sure they would find a location for a depot with potential to expand on the amount of services they do operate from Chester at the moment .

RE: Stagecoach Chester & Wirral
The land is worth a lot of money thats why they wont just sell it. Thats why they have said they will close the depot if its not making money, they wont sell it. Probably going to keep hold of that land for as long as they can to make a huge profit when it does come to selling it.
