2 of the 100 Volvo B9TLs (12-plate) are at OM, 36279/80. And yes some First London B9s allegedly had Voiths but I cannot confirm this.

27 Enviro400s are due for Rusholme, 33831-33857. Due to space constraints, I imagine once they're fit for service then they'll enter service (once enough drivers are type trained) and Streetlites will be replaced on a 1 for 1 basis ad sent to QS.

What could be an interesting sighting was sighted yesterday while I was heading upto Huddersfield on 10:03 184 from Oldham Bus Station as coming the other way inbetween Uppermill and Grotton was one of Oldham's Volvo Olympians, reason why I say interesting as I checked the timetable and if it was on the journey I thought it was on then it would have been on 09:30 184 from Huddersfield

Just seen 32908 (just after 15:30) heading up to North Manchester General Hospital on a 42 working, very unusual to have a decker on CrossConnect, may well be the first ever! It wasn't out earlier so it's presumably been used as a changeover.

No Enviro400s out from Rusholme yet but the last 2 B7TLs (30960/3) have gone to OM.

First's changes now on their website.

Confirmation of the 53 evening service taken over by Stagecoach plus introductions of the new services mentioned in the TfGM Commitee documents:

*23 between Shaw and Manchester, partly replacing the 428 and some journeys on the 24 during weekday off-peak period
*41 extension to Eccles via Salford
*339 between Ashton and Crowhill, replacing the 41 and 419
*511 between Bolton and Bury, replacing service 510 and some journeys on the 536.
*X80, which replaces Mon-Sat daytime journeys on the 180. The X80 will run around the same times as the current 180 service.

Other changes:
*16 is withdrawn completely
*New weekday journey on the 39 at 0825 from Little Hulton to Manchester
*99 no longer operated by First (taken over by Go Goodwins)
*472/474 evening journeys that were taken over by Rosso last month will return to First and operated commercially.
*Weekday timetables re-timed on services 36, 37, 39, 58/59, 68, 81/81A, 83, 181/182, 184, 409 and 468 and Mon-Sat timetable on the 17 and 18.

Will the 24 be reduced back to hourly? Will the 23 be timed nicely with the 24/181/182 services?

510 is a long standing route, are First trying to kill two birds with one stone and remove two routes with this 511 service?

Personally speaking i have lived in Ainsworth and the 510 is my local route and i can remember the 509 as well, i don't see the need to make things difficult for the people of Ainsworth, but so much more easier for Darcy Lever Breightmet areas, the 536 should have been withdrawn and make the 511 half hourly personally i think First are stupid and out of touch on this issue

Talking of 511 service can anyone shed any light on the depot to do this route, I'm assuming Bolton as the 536 darcy lever area is there terrority etc. Also the existing 510 does have a habit of going to from Bury Bolton depots every couple of years or so

Be interesting what route 511 is going to actually take as at the moment 536 goes down Garstang Road in the same direction twice, once to cover Somerton Road and then it goes down again to cover Darcy Lever, I only found out this about a month ago when a friend of mine from Bolton Depot was on the route and I did a couple of trips with him and said that it was daft the way it was routed and we were wondering whether 511 would have to do this

Rusholme put 33853 out on the 41 this afternoon as a changeover for 63110.
