Good job it wasn't 4202 as that one doesn't have any working upper saloon lighting!

As you'd probably expect quite a number of Volvo B5LH's have been replaced by DAF SB120/VDL SB200's this evening on the cross river services, although the 471/472 remains mostly decker operated.

Someone might be winding you up if they've told you that as a driver would be looking at being suspended for refusing to drive a bus that was 'too slow'.

Not at all, if a vehicle is complained about or 'signed off' by drivers constantly for issues such as no/poor heating, so slow it becomes dangerous etc, it will be 'blacklisted' by the union meaning they will not use the vehicle until the outstanding issue(s) are solved.

If a bus is so slow it would make pulling out at roundabouts or in heavy traffic very difficult and infact dangerous, then understandably it can be blacklisted.

This is extremely common at any depot at any company with union representatives.

I am no longer active on this forum.

I agree with R879 HRF, I understand both 4200 and 4202 are both being looked into as we speak.

If 4200 and 4202 didnt arrive in that state from London how did they manage to get to a point that a snail could beat them off a roundabout .
