Pre Delivery Inspection - obviously ADL do their own inspection of the body before it leaves Falkirk, but the local Scania dealers also do a check to make sure the mechanicals are fit for service. |

Service 300 (Whitehaven-Carlisle) was converted to Stagecoach Gold today with four new Scanias 15920-15923 (PX13 DME/DMF/DMO/DMU. Reserve B10M 20965 was in service at Carlisle today on services 79/179 (Carlisle-Annan-Dumfries). Schoolbus B10M 20710 was used on the 1215 38 Durdar and the 1325 93 Bowness after a Dart broke down on an earlier 93. I have previously only seen this on a school ocntract. I hear that Stagecoach have cancelled the Blackwell and Durdar sections of the 38, leaving it to run Carlisle-Silloth again, with effect from 19th August, and Cumbria County Council have put a tender out for it. It remains to be seen if Stagecoach will get it or if it will go elsewhere (Reay's?). |

Are Reays competing with Stagecoach as they seem to be doing a lot of services across Cumbria that are the same as Stagecoach's? |
