That's the one, yeah. Thanks a lot for the info - will be very useful. According to Flickr photos and the bus website mentioned above, it seems to spend almost all of its time on the 55 these days, so that will make tracking it down much easier.

I will in due course update the fleet code section on my site, to give an understanding as to what they mean. Its a tedious task please believe lol.

The DEs from the 245 will allow the 90 and E6 to be part converted to DE operation and some MMs cascaded elsewhere.

That's a great post! I love reading about the history of vehicles, routes, infrastructure etc. It's posts like this that I enjoy reading the most.

Thanks dude. There's more to come. I've been very busy lately but there's tons of posts to browse through however. I think I've covered about 90% of every new bus to come into London since 2010 :chuckle.

We have some manufacturer visits too. Glad you liked the article however. Means a lot.

Thanks very much for this link. I'm popping down to London in a few weeks time and hope to ride some of the Borismasters on the 38 and possibly track down TA1 amongst other things. This website is incredibly useful for that purpose.

Better going for the 24 as it's solid Borismaster worked (24's northern Hampstead Heath terminus at South End Green is nice for pics, always seems to be at least two waiting http://www.flickr.com/photos/dmc1947/9361988970/ )

Speaking of Borismaster's, route 11 (Liverpool Street - Fulham Broadway) is the next to be converted over from 21 September, PVR of 25 with 28 expected (LT41-LT68), worked by Go Ahead from Stockwell depot. I expect these will start appearing through Heysham soon....

Borismaster LT35 had an argument with a wooden post at Hampstead Heath last Thursday. From the photographs the bus came off worst.

All time rail mileage travelled 327264 miles

RE: London Bus Scene
I was on LT8 yesterday on route 38 and was glad I was only on it for two stops the interior was red hot. Okay it's a hot summer but when they evaluated/tested the NB4L surely opening windows would've been a better idea than a air-con system that doesn't work. IMHO the Borrismaster/NB4L is not what is needed here it's a massive waste of cash, looks ugly and does nothing the current Wright/Alexander Dennis deckers do and do better. But the blonde bombshell can waste shedloads of cash while his Tory chums talk about 'austerity'! What's the guess the 600 Johnson has committed to buying will end up on an airfield like the bendies within 7-10 years time too...

Route 9 between Hammersmith & Aldwych will be the next route converted to LT's on 26 October, followed by route 390 between Archway & Notting Hill Gate by the end of the year.
