I don't believe there is a spare Enviro any more. They've lost 4403/04/05/07 leaving 19, exactly the PVR of the 432/433/437. That usually means at least one substitute bus (usually a DLA) on the route, and often more.

It does seem strange to allocate the enviros on routes other than 432/3/7 when there are none to spare, especially as DLAs arn't supposed to be on them in the first place!

North East, Yorkshire & one of the southern fleets are due some too.

And if they're due at the same time or very soon then 4700 could have belonged to one of them fleets then.

Certainly won't be one of the North East or Yorkshire examples - the North East examples will likely be numbered 7701-10 and the Yorkshire ones will be numbered 1xxx. Think the Southern Countries examples will be numbered completely differently as well, plus all the completed examples so far are said to be for North West.

Thanks kuyoyo, that's why I questioned whether they were due yet.

RE: Arriva North West - Birkenhead Depot
Those B5LH's that have arrived so far in 4491 and 4492 (KTC/KTD and a so far unregistered example) are part of the batch due for Bolton depot, finished with seating identical to that of the 12-plate X1 Pulsar 2's at Runcorn. First impressions are very good indeed both inside and out, no doubt once the vehicles are branded/wearing relevant decals they will be eye catching amongst other buses used in the region.

The recently MOT'd and former Bolton DLA 4076 has replaced Enviro 4406, which left for St Helens Monday morning. 4076 has arrived now at LS and is expected in service shortly. It appears 4025 is another example to have been transferred into this fleet after the forecast remedial works were carried out at St Helens. Good to see more of these DAF's finding allocations and finding use in service.
