March 24th will also see the start of a new X93/93 timetable I am told. Although no details available yet.

Does this mean that the leather-seated OmniCities are departing the Middlesbrough area? They could be effective buses for the X66!

Nope. The leather seated OmniCitys are used by Stockton on the 5. Whitby/Redcar operate the 93/X93 therefore it's their OmniCitys moving to Darlington.

Thank you for your immediate clarification Kuyoyo. The first word that entered my head was Whoops! In 2010 I rode route 93 from Scarborough to Whitby and it was an OmniCity, I think with green seating. It was bursting at the seems being the August Bank Holiday Saturday so the double-deckers will be welcome. I'm sure I rode an Olympian from Whitby to Middlesbrough the August Bank Holiday Sunday in 1998.

I'm surprised this was on cos Stockton drivers aren't type trained on solos

Saw 1202 leaving Haymarket today on 685 service at about 1345. I thought R-reg batch had all been taken off the road!
