That is a shame as they would defo see some of the Ultralows at Chester disappear for use elsewhere. Most just need a P&P.

i think 32459 is coming here

30243 and 30246 were also out on the #38 as well as one of the old Scania's. 30243 seemed to be quite good, shame for the folk of the Wirral they have steps... Best get them in whilst we can.

sorry - my reference to 30843 should have been 30243 - it's an S-NUB.

RE: First Chester & Wirral
Think it's actually an ex-First vehicle but 30077 B200DTU is parked up in AC Commercials in Abbey Street, Birkenhead.

Seen 13 September in the garage

Still there yesterday, moved outside.

Is is now for preservation?

Cheers

Well it was rumoured that it would be preserved when it left the fleet but it has been a while now since it left and it looks like nothing has been done to it. But why would AC Commercials be interested in preserving a bus? Interesting LOL

RE: First Chester & Wirral
It was donated to the Wirral Transport Museum for preservation, i was told its owned by the council, but some of you may remember it had a slight bump before it was withdrawn and the front corner panel was held on with tape. I was wondering about old EOG200 last week and did ask a member of the transport museum what was happening with it. He said it had been getting repaired somewhere in the Birkenhead area, not too sure where though! Must have returned, hopefully see it in one of its many old liverys soon!

I am no longer active on this forum.

Yes I also heard it was for preservation at theTransport Museum and for A while it was apparently stored in a council yard in Birkenhead.
