So Speke are doing 211 instead of Green Lane as doesn't current click run with 201 If honest would make sence Speke doing both 201 and 211 |

The 211 is a green lane route. Just because the route is near Speke doesn’t mean it makes sense to operate there. The service replaced click and interworked with 201 and clatterbridge so there was no need to change anything and all the drivers on the rosta remain the same. The plan was to borrow 6015 from Southport to test but as the 3A didn’t run today it was easier to borrow a Speke one. |

Had a feeling they’d consider Streetlites with the Mellors not working out. I remember Halton used to put their Myllenium SPDs on the 211 quite a few times and seemingly were able to do the full route, but I appreciate Arriva’s risk assessments are probably a fair bit more cautious. Anyway, apologies as I should’ve put that post in the GL thread instead |
