507003 & 507029 moved ECS from Southport to Birkenhead North Depot today, via Kirkdale C.S. All 4 remaining 507s are now in the shed at Birkenhead North depot, with 001 & 029 due next to Newport (probably on Monday). It appears the 507s have worked their last passenger service last Thursday morning (28th November) with the 0902 Liverpool Central to Southport service (2S12), worked by 003 & 029. Sad times.... |

The 507 preservation society will then arrange collection. The society have actually been at Sims today, stripping 507007 and 018 of parts. |

The final two, 507003 & 507023, due to go the following Monday, 16th December. |

I’ll try and check that out. 507001/023 weren’t shown as officially withdrawn on Tuesday but that may have changed in the meantime |

The latest stock position shows 507001/029 as the units to go next to Newport as 508134 correctly posted. The move this morning was cancelled owing to the loco not reaching Birkenhead North because of high winds yesterday. 777020 has received attention for tree damage attained on Saturday |

The scrap move has been rescheduled to depart at 0605 on Monday if anyone wants to get up at that hour to see it! |
