Read on a Facebook group (sorry can't remember which or who to give credit) that the 6 is being enhanced with developer funding and the 3 new Solos will be used for that.

I thought the 6 & 7 interwork with the short workings on the 2 so I presume that will also change?

I wonder if more solos be due shortly to replace the ex London Enviro200's and the Ex Eazibus Enviro200 as surly getting a little too old for long routes like the 5 to Wrexham

The 6 is a shadow of its former self, that it's now every 40 minutes, that used to be every 15 minutes, & did a loop around Stanney Grange

Can't see 36588 going anywhere at the moment as it's not long been at chester unless it's replaced with something and its on a 59 plate too ive been on it few times it's OK but it rattles a bit along with the rest of them

I believe the fleet numbers are as follows

YJ74 CXH - 48192
YJ74 CXK - 48193
YJ74 CXL - 48194

And will be used on E6/E7 & 102/3

Watch out if your planning to catch the 1/X1 until Christmas, because of traffic at Cheshire Oaks, reliability is out of the window, one of the 1s yesterday ended up arriving in Liverpool 75 minutes late, a few terminated & started at Birkenhead Bus Station

I was on 13:20 X1 on Saturday travelling from Chester-Birkenhead, it eventually left Chester at 14:00 and due to being stuck in traffic getting to Cheshire Oaks losing even more time (it had lost another 30mins in slow moving traffic getting to Cheshire Oaks by which time it was about 1 hour late) a decision was made for it to not only to miss out Cheshire Oaks but to run out of service from M&S/Blue Planet Aquarium all the way to Birkenhead dropping off as required to try and make up some of the time that was lost.
