RE: Stagecoach MCSL - Chester & Wirral Depots
The evening service which was tendered only consists of 2 buses. Of which, 1 doesn't do much. This is what was tendered: Bus 1: 20:35 Crewe to Chester Bus 2 M-Th: 20:05 Chester - Crewe, 21:25 Crewe - Nantwich Bus 2 FriSat: 20:05 Chester - Crewe, 21:25 Crewe - Chester, 22:40 Chester - Crewe. |

RE: Stagecoach MCSL - Chester & Wirral Depots
That Bus 2 still has a lot of dead mileage from Nantwich on Monday to Thursday and even more on Friday and Saturday from Crewe. can you see Stagecoach being happy with that in the longer term though . |

It won’t matter as dead mileage would have been calculated in the tender bid by stagecoach. It’s not Stagecoach paying out, it’s the local authorities. |

Also first bus from Chester is almost 2 hours earlier, while the first from Crewe is an hour later. Last from Chester is 45 minutes earlier, while last from Crewe is 2 hours later. https://tis-kml-stagecoach.s3.amazonaws....KAO084.pdf |

Whether commercial or alternative bid to the tender, I don't know. https://tis-kml-stagecoach.s3.amazonaws....KAO084.pdf |
