Not sure if there's a shortage of usable deckers today. Based on the tracking 103 did the afternoon 47 and has gone on to the Lymm High School 41A. That's pretty much always a decker but it looks like they used an Enviro 200 one morning last week on the 41A.

I don't think there is a shortage today.
From the tracking, I was expecting 318 to go on to the afternoon 47 to Knutsford and return to Lymm and go on to schools because that vehicle started out on the 05:45 service 25 to Gorse Covert, which normally eventually works on to them.
However, according to the tracking, it looks like that vehicle was sent out on 19/25/16 this afternoon instead.

More deckers seem to be getting out on the CATs these days, with some trips being decker operated on Cat7, Cat8, Cat9, 9A and 9B today, as well as Cat5 and Cat6 shorts.

Sounds like a lot to get introduced but I suppose it's an average of 8-9 vehicles entering service each month.

Curious to see what kind they'll be having. Mellor Sigma would be a acceptable choice for single decks

Informed by a driver yesterday that 78 has been withdrawn due to its gearbox blowing. 60 is also apparently off the road yet is tracking on the 3 today..... I'll see what i can find when I visit the depot on Monday

Hope the move to the new depot has been getting off to a good start Smile
Noticed a few boards have changed, such as the decker which does the Birchwood Park morning runs going on to the 21 at 09:15 instead of a 1 at 09:27.
Of course, it's school holidays, so that's also affecting the boards at the moment too.
