RE: Merseyrail
According to RTT there was a movement from Kirkdale CS to Seaforth CT at 0005 today. This may be something to do with 508143 transit |

RE: Merseyrail
1 part of 508143 was heading south on the M6 last night with Allelys, the other 2 went down this morning after spending the night on Acornfield Road, Kirkby. |

RE: Merseyrail
What has happened to 143, is it in need of major repairs that cannot be done at Birkenhead North or Kirkdale |

RE: Merseyrail
Ah right, thanks for that. At first I thought it had become the 1st unit to be bought for preservation |

Should be interesting once we get past the Jubiulee Weekend how the following week's services pan out. |

RE: Merseyrail
Pity we couldn't borrow some class 313 units from southern. Literally a 313 is basically a 507/508 with a pantograph well on the roof of the middle coach and they are built to the same dimensions as the 507 & 508 units so they would have no problem working up here. This is because the 313s on southern only work on 3rd rail only as their pantographs were removed once they were transferred to southern from great northern who operate the moorgate to welwyn garden city service as class 717 units now operate the moorgate service. Also they have the same couplings on the cab ends and can work in multiple operation with our units. |

RE: Merseyrail
Not a great day again, a diagram was missing off the West Kirby line for a good part of the day, and buses are runing Hooton - Chester due to signalling issues |
