Astle Park traction engine rally traffic caused massive delays most of the day. 89s also suffered with traffic on the A556 and M6 roundabout (14/08/2021 14:59)knutstransport Wrote: Seems to be something affecting buses running via Chelford today with some very late services and one diverting via Wilmslow to get between Broken Cross and Knutsford. I don't think the driver who did that realised that you can turn directly on to the B5085 from Alderley Edge at Brook Lane and don't need to up to Wilmslow and on to the B5086 to connect to it. If it was in the other direction it might make sense as the right turn can be difficult from the B5085 towards Alderley Edge village. Works for me |

122 made an appearance on the 130 this morning. It didn't remain on the service long as tracking shows it spent a long time in Handforth on the 10:49 Wythenshawe to Macclesfield, before terminating in Wilmslow. It was seen running out-of-service along Mobberley Road in Knutsford at around 12:45. |

Looks like 122 failed again today, this time on the 89, with 25 taking it's place. |

I wonder if 122 was supposed to have been out yesterday. It seems Versa 28 ran from Crewe to Northwich for the 82 but instead of going into service it appeared to go to Wincham and got swapped for Enviro 32. It seems during school holidays the bus off the 07:03 Altrincham to Knutsford goes out-of-service and later goes on to the Handforth Dean shuttle, with a bus fresh from the depot doing the 08:20 Knutsford to Altrincham. If 32 had been nabbed for the 82 and 28 was faulty then 122 might have been the only vehicle available. 25 and 28 are both back on the 82 again today, with 3 of the 4 vehicles on the 88/89 being Solos and the other being 36. |

Looks like 36 has now failed and been replaced by 31. Doesn't look like they are sorting out the reliability issues with the small Enviros. |

122 had a new gearbox fitted a few weeks ago and has given trouble ever since. 36 failed in Macclesfield with air problem. By the end of today only 2 Solos were on 88s, 130 and 138. The other 2 buses were long Enviros The shunt car got swapped for Solo 131 for some reason (21/08/2021 10:50)knutstransport Wrote: Looks like 36 has now failed and been replaced by 31. Big Enviro 32 terminated this morning in Morley Green. 146 turned up in Knutsford at 1pm to take its place, possibly the furthest north that vehicle has ever been? Edit: Just noticed 139 terminated at Morley Green at the same time as 32. Was there a collision or something? 26 has now taken the place of 139. The tracking shows 26 was going to Northwich for the 82 this morning but then never went on to the 82 with 141 taking its place. There must be a very stressed person dealing with all the unplanned vehicle swaps. |

Apparently from what I've heard today both 32 & 139 were involved in a head on collision in Morley Green not to sure of the full details though and how bad the damage is to both vehicles. |

Unusual for a head on collision to occur between two buses operating the same route. The Metrocity and Versa have both gone on to on the 88 again today. If the workings stay as they've been for the school holidays then the Metrocity will end up on the Handforth Dean shuttle as and the Versa will do Northwich 89 workings for most of the day, rather than Macclesfield 88. |

Another unusual swap yesterday. 135 came off the 109 and went on to the 130. |
