RE: Merseyrail
As soon as the front two coaches of 507006 are rerailed on temporary track, 37800 will haul the convoy back to Kirkdale, but will probably wait for the service trains to go on to the depot first

RE: Merseyrail
Can I ask please what the latest is regarding the kirkby incident.

RE: Merseyrail
Slowly rerailing the two front coaches but not completed yet.
The situation isn’t helped by 37800’s driver has to have a 12 hour break between shifts (Hidden report) so it’ll be tomorrow now before the train is moved back to Kirkdale, I think.

RE: Merseyrail
Any idea what the plan is next for 507006, presumably being sent for scrap but how will they remove it from Kirkdale depot?
Have the investigations finished following the incident?
Is 507021 back out in service or still under investigation?

RE: Merseyrail
it will be assessed by the insurance company and RAIB. Both units will be treated as Evidence so will be stored out the way
