RE: Northern Trains Ltd
National Rail saying that timetables are correct in journey planners up to 11 April - if so then Covid timetable rather than lockdown timetable from 8th March according to RTT although jourmey planners actually seem to have no Northern trains!

Journey planners now showing Northern Trains - looks like as now.
;
Looks like the fault was with RTT - Crewe-MIA-Liverpool trains now removed, but not the other way!

Not good for the Hale/Altrincham area schools if it's staying like that. Some of their pupils will have to arrive before 8am and will find their train home isn't until around 5pm.

Seems the next change with be 11th April according to NRE.

Some minor changes have appeared in RTT effective from 08/03.

I noticed yesterday that some leaflet pdf.s had been re-issued, but all the changes seemed to have been in operation since mid-February - and they aren't even consistent, the Manchester Airport leaflet has an afternoon Barrow retimed, but it still got the old times in the reissued Cumbrian Coast one!

RE: Northern Trains Ltd
0804 Stockport to Chester has appeared and also 1000 Chester to Manchester Oxford Road from next Monday, strangely those aren't reinstating missing services but variations of services that are in the December timetable. The Oxford Road extension of the 10:00 isn't all that useful as it runs just ahead of the Liverpool to Norwich service, which also forms a direct Stockport to Oxford Road train.

Northern May timetable now on RTT. Many lines remaining on reduced service. The Mid Cheshire loses the peak time extra which was reinstated in Dec, rather than getting the missing 4 reinstated.

Virtually all TOCs appear to be planning to revert to what was planned from Dec 2020, except EMR who show the full service as consulted - curiously some GWR trains running now aren't shown to run from May, although they do show virtually all the suspended trains as unadvertised.

New Northern approach seems to be they reinstate services and only publicise them after passengers tell Northern they are running more services than they advertised
