That was the original plan, however these might be part of the batch that were due to go to Preston

How many jobs on the 2 is it that the Chester depot operate .

On the 38 being introduced to the Stagecoach Gold brand , does anyone think this may be because of the 407 being extended from Moreton to West Kirby.

I think Chester have two diagrams on the 2.

It does seem a slightly strange choice making the 38 a gold route- suspect it's either connected with the 407 extension, or possibly that the original proposals for the Enviro 300's has changed & they're available to run the service.

The 38 will be run by the deckers originally arrived for the 1

I wonder if that decision is because the Arriva are extending the 407 to West Kirby, a week on Monday?

Surely if the 38 is going to be operated by the deckers that are supposedly for the 1 service that makes a mockery of the reason for rerouting the 1 out of Chester as the original reason for the rerouting was so that the 1 could have deckers allocated to most if not all journies.

After speaking to rockferry management yesterday, the enviro 300s are staying, 38 to be operated mainly by the gold 300s with selected working ie school times working in scania 400s

The 1 is still going to be mostly scania operated as the scania's arnt designed to be on routes like the 38

You may also find the spare 400mmc might be a regular on the 38[/align]

To be honest after traveling on the newer Gold's on the 471/2 and the Gold deckers on the 1 , the Gold Deckers on the 471/2 win hands down the vehicles on the 1 are not to a very good standard and are dirty inside to be honest and if they have been refurbished then sorry Stagecoach it leaves a lot to be desired , being honest the rerouting of the 1 doesnt pick any passengers up , the old route of the 1 picked some passengers up.
